It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge that Day X has come. Please join us starting with a somber vigil at the Oakland Federal Building on Thursday, March 20th, 7:00 AM. The full details of the plan can be found below.

Thursday, March 20th: Gather at Oakland Federal Building for a somber vigil 7:00 AM

Thursday, March 20th: Gather at 5 PM in Frank Ogawa Plaza

Please bring banners, candles, and signs. Patricia St. Onge and Wilson Riles, Jr. will facilitate the gathering where we will have speakers from the community.  We will also have music before we commence the march.

March through
Downtown Oakland at 5:30 PM

Route:

• March down Broadway and pause at the freeway ramp where we will be visible to commuters.
• Proceed through and around Jack London Square.
• March back down Broadway turning right on 7th to go through Chinatown.
• Turn left on Webster and then left on 12th returning to FOP amphitheatre.

Interfaith Gathering 6:30 PM

This will be in the amphitheatre unless it is raining.  If that is the case, we'll go directly to First Unitarian Church of Oakland.
